Originally bred as a pack hound, they are good around other dogs, horses, children and other pets. This breed is
gentle, social and tolerant. This breed is slower than the American Foxhound but will run all day with very few
breaks in between. It is a very active breed and enjoys hunting.
The English Foxhound of the Hound Group average lifespan is from 10 to 13 years of age, but British Clubs
have been known to put down the working pounds at 6 to 7 years of age. As with all purebreds this breed has their
